Are you looking for support as you—or a loved one—navigates older adulthood?
Tatiana Lloyd-Dotta, LMSW (she/her)
I’m Tatiana, a clinical social worker who specializes in geriatrics with a subspecialty in hospice and end of life. My heart and home are in San Diego, where I grew up and where I discovered my passion for working with older adults. I came to New York City to pursue my Master of Social Work at Fordham University, where I won the Hartford Partnership Program Scholarship in Aging Education. I also completed a Post-Master’s Certification in Palliative and End of Life Care at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work. I am currently training to become a certified Death Doula.
I am uniquely qualified to work not only with aging adults but also with the loved ones of those adults. I offer compassionate support as well as practical care-management experience for anyone who is navigating major medical events, the advance of a long-term illness, or the experience of supporting a loved one as they navigate older adulthood. I also work with people who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
My practice is grounded in modalities designed to cultivate trust and build relationships. I take a warm, empathetic approach and am trained and supervised in a psychodynamic framework and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
